How You Can Use NovelPlayer

  • Use it only as a reader: just read the reader foundation
  • Want to listen to novels: start with the built-in lightweight TTS, then decide whether to upgrade to local voice enhancement
  • Want to generate lightweight ADV: you can create images and scenes first; connecting a local voice service is not required
  • Want to access your local voice service remotely: finally, look at Tunnel, Access, and security settings

Before You Start

  • CosyVoice is just one optional self-hosted voice engine; it is not part of NovelPlayer itself
  • The current quota focus is on ANALYZE and IMAGE; a user-managed local voice service itself does not count against platform quotas
