Things You Should Know Beforehand

  • Currently only Android is available — welcome to join our Discord community.
  • Not configuring an additional voice service does not affect your ability to read local novels with NovelPlayer.
  • CosyVoice is just one optional local voice engine, not a built-in feature of the app. You can pair it with your own key to experience audiobooks for free.
  • Quotas and subscriptions mainly affect cloud-side analysis, image, and similar capabilities. They do not affect the voice service you run locally.
  • Voice support is currently limited to Chinese and English; Korean and Japanese are still in the planning stages.
